Yoga for Relaxation

When I awoke this morning I knew it was time for me to trek back over to my favorite kundalini yoga class in Hollywood!  I just love kundalini yoga because it’s so nurturing to my heart, body, and soul.

It has been over one year since I’ve been to that kundalini yoga class.  Why?  Well, life has gotten pretty busy for me these days and when that happens I tend to do some things more locally  — yoga being one of them.  I’ve tried various yoga classes in town but my heart always misses my kundalini yoga class at Golden Bridge Yoga,

Golden Bridge Yoga has moved into a new building since I was last there.  I’m happy to report the energy is the same and wellness is still ever present in the air.  I so enjoyed my class today.  It wasn’t easy but it was good.  We did a lot of breath work which connects you to your body, brings you present in the moment, and allows you to feel.  We also did exercises that help make us more steady and steadfast in our lives.

As we did our exercises I could feel my energy traveling throughout my body in a good way.  With each inhale and exhale my body was grateful to be a part of this experience.

Kundalini yoga & meditation is very healing and relaxing.  My goal now is to make it out to class at least once a month.  I will continue doing yoga at home of course.  But, I’m gonna take time to get to this amazing class at least once a month.  I’m really looking foward to sitting on my purple yoga mat in my kundalini yoga & meditation class each month because it’s nurturing to my heart, mindy, body, soul, and spirit!
