Relax at Night Naturally with Lavender Oil

by pamelawright on October 14, 2011

Did you know Queen Victoria used lavender for many things during the Victorian era?

This year I’ve discovered the joy of lavender essential oil!  I remember the first time I used it.  You know why?  Because I didn’t think I liked it.  I was at an event in Chicago and put too much of it on at one time.  I had such a reaction that I ran to the ladies room to wash it off.  Yes… this was my first experience with lavender essential oil but dare say not my last.

Several months after getting home from this Chicago event, I was still searching for natural ways to relax.  This search led me back to essential oils and a friend whose an independent distributor for Young Living Essential Oils.  After a few communications,  I placed my order for essential oils and decided to become an independent distributor too.

When I got my order I read all the materials about how to use the essentials oils.  And let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried lavender again because I loved it!  The problem I had in Chicago was just due to my putting on too much at one time.

I quickly discovered that lavender essential oil helped me relax naturally at night whenever I used it.  I just love putting a little lavender oil on the bottom of my feet while sitting in bed at night with my lavender candle burning nearby.  It’s fun, easy, and relaxing!

Are you looking for natural ways to relax at night?  Learn more about essential oils now and let me know what you think.

Get your lavender oil now and sleep good at night!

Thanks for sharing this information on ‘Lavender Oil’ Pamela! I find the history of healthy living interesting … e.g. lavender oil being used in the Victorian Age … Thanks, Hughie

Me too, Hughie! I’m very interested now in healthy living. I’m amazed at how lavender oil has been used for centuries for so many good purposes. I love that there’s documented history of lavender oil being used in the Victorian era as well as ancient history.

Pamela, I’ve been buying fresh lavender oils in local French markets, in Provence, for decades. Nothing is more relaxing than a few drops in a warm bath …

That’s so cool, Sharon! When I get to France, I’m definitely buying some fresh lavender oils there.

When i lived in Georgia i had the most lovely lavender bushes in my yard. I’m kicking myself for not knowing what usefulness they could provide other than luring beautiful butterflies to my yard.

Marissa, I can feel the beauty of your lovely lavender bushes in your words. How wonderful!!
