PTSD Natural Stress Relief System

If you’re reading this article I’m assuming you have PTSD (aka Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), know someone who has PTSD or are curious about the topic.  Managing PTSD naturally is very important to me because I have PTSD and don’t like using meds for stress relief.  I like essential oils because they’re natural and promote good health!

The essential oils I use help me de-stress & relax naturally!  That’s a good thing because the winds of stress can hit me anywhere, anytime 24/7.  Do you know what I mean?  Before I realized I had PTSD I just found myself in a cloud of extreme stress without awareness that it was related to PTSD.  Now, when I find myself in a cloud of extreme stress I also have an awareness that it’s related to my PTSD and I have an action plan to get out of the cloud quickly.

Here’s the PTSD Natural Stress Relief System that has helped me:

     Extreme Stress
**Step 1 – Choose one oil from the list below to help you de-stress & relax

De-stress & Relax:  Lavender Oil, Vetiver Oil, Frankincense Oil, Peace & Calming Oil

**Step 2 – Put on the oil.  You can put a few drops of the oil on your wrists, temples, behind your ears, and behind your neck.

**Step 3 – Breathe. Take 3 deep breaths. Focus on your breath.  Inhale through your nose. Exhale through your mouth.

    Light Stress

**Step 1 – Choose one oil from the list below to help you de-stress & relax or uplift & refresh.

The uplift & refresh oils are lighter and knockout light stress with a happy boost!  The destress & relax oils are heavier and knock out stress in a calming, relaxing way!  You choose the oil that works best for YOU!

De-stress & Relax:  Lavender Oil, Vetiver Oil, Frankincense Oil, Peace & Calming Oil

Uplift & Refresh: Lavender Oil, Lemon Oil, Orange Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Cinnamon Oil, Tangerine Oil

Lavender Oil is on both lists because it’s an adaptogen.  That means it has natural properties that helps your body relax and come back to a state of balance and harmony.  It will provide your body with whatever it needs — relaxation and/or rejuvenation!

**Step 2 – Put on the oil.  You can put a few drops of the oil on your wrists, temples, behind your ears, and behind you neck.  I recommend, however, only putting cinnamon oil on your wrists, temples, and behind your ears.

**Step 3 – Breathe. Take 3 deep breaths. Focus on your breath.  Inhale through your nose. Exhale through your mouth.

I use Young Living’s 100% Natural, Therapeutic-Grade Oils because they work, are highly effective, and get the results I like!  They usher in the winds of peace that dissolves stress and helps me anchor into calm in a good and healthy way.  And that calming breeze feels good and brings me joy!
