1 Happy Thing

1 Happy Thing is a grassroots campaign about doing at least 1 thing every day that makes YOU happy! : )  It’s simple, fun and easy!   All you need to do to be involved is do at least one thing every day that makes you happy. 

Here’s some examples of things that make me happy: 

  • going for a walk
  • lighting my fragrant candle
  • writing  
  • enjoying my morning cup of coffee
  • snapping pics of flowers
  • seeing the full moon
  • seeing flowers
  • seeing my favorite trees
  • giving my husband and kids a hug
  • special times with family
  • special times with friends  
  • making my kids peanut butter cookies
  • going to the beach
  • going to a day spa
  • getting a hot stone massage
  • getting my hair done
  • stretching
  • going out for chinese food
  • going out for thai food 
  • going out for ice-cream
  • going out for yogurt 
  • popping popcorn
  • meditating on good things
  • sunshine
  • yoga 
  • essential oils
  • prayer walks
  • watching my favorite movies
  • listening to Mozart
  • listening to music I like
  • reading books I like
  • helping children as a children’s lawyer
  • helping children get clean water
  • helping orphans
  • and the list goes on!

What makes you happy?  Whatever you choose to do is up to you.  If you get off track, just get back on.  It’s really that simple!
